how to put on semi-cured gel nail strips
-
1.
(Optional) For best results, we recommend removing or pushing back your cuticles.
-
2.
Clean your nails to remove any oil and debris. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol and cotton pads for this step.
Allow your nails to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
-
3.
Find the right size for your nail and peel off the protective film.
Try using a nail strip that’s slightly smaller than your actual nail size.
-
4.
Peel off the nail strip and carefully place it onto your nail.
Avoid placing the the strip over your skin and cuticle.
-
5.
Press and smooth down the edges of the nail strip with your finger, ensuring that the strip is completely sealed to your nail.
You can also use the flat part of the wooden stick to gently push down the edges of the nail strip.
-
6.
Remove the excess nail strip with a cuticle scissor or nail clipper.
-
7.
Tidy up the rest by filing off the remaining excess of the strip. Avoid filing in a way that pulls the nail strip away from the nail. Refer to the example image for the correct direction to file your nail in.
-
8.
Cure your nails for 60 seconds using an LED nail lamp.
-
9.
And you’re done!
Warning: Dazzling may occur due to your fabulous nails. 😉

additional tips
For the short nail queens
If you have short nails and you are finding it difficult to file the nail strips off before curing them, try this method instead: Stick the nail strip to the nail, use a cuticle scissor to neatly cut off the excess strip and then cure the nail strip. Once cured, proceed to file off the remaining excess.
Longer lasting perfection
If you haven’t applied any polish to your nails recently, you can lightly buff the surface of your nails before application to help the gel adhere to your nails for longer.
Keeping leftover strips
You can store unused nail strips in their original packaging and leave them in a cool and dark place until you’re ready to use them.
