What's the difference between semi-cured gel nail strips and regular gel nail polish?
While semi-cured gel nail strips are made using the same ingredients found in regular gel nail polish, the gel nail strips are soft and conveniently shaped to fit your nails, making application a breeze. You simply peel the semi-cured gel nail strips from the protective sheet and stick the strips to your nails.
The gel nail strips are 60% cured, allowing them to wrap around the shape of your nails and the excess can be cut or filed away easily.
After fitting the semi-cured gel nail strips to your nails, you can put them under an LED nail lamp to cure them 100% for a long-lasting finish.
What's the difference between semi-cured gel nail strips and other nail strips?
Gel nail strips are made with gel nail polish ingredients. They contain the best of both worlds, allowing you to easily peel and stick the strips to your nails and then cure (harden) the strips for a long-lasting and salon-quality finish.
The gel nail strips include a protective top coat that prevents chipping while maintaining a glossy and refined appearance.
How long do gel nail strips last for?
When applied with properly prepped nails, your manicure can last for 2 to 4 weeks, or even longer!
💡 Tips for a longer lasting manicure:
- Lightly buff your nails with a fine grit nail buffer before application.
- Start with squeaky clean and completely dry nails.
- Avoid placing the strip over your cuticle and skin.
- Ensure the strip is completely stuck to the nail with no air bubbles or lifting before curing.
How can I store my unused gel nail strips?
To preserve the effectiveness of your unused gel nail strips, store them in their original packaging and in a cool and dark place.
Can gel nail strips damage my nails?
Gel nail strips are easy to remove and do not require harsh removal methods such as soaking or filing.
When removed carefully, the strips cause minimal damage, a vast difference from regular gel polish.
Are your gel nail strips vegan?
Yes! Our gel nail strips are vegan and have not been tested on animals.

How long does it take to apply semi-cured gel nail strips?
Like anything in life, it can take a little longer to do things for the first time. Nevertheless, we find the learning curve with applying nail strips is much easier to overcome than applying traditional nail polish. You do not need a steady hand and previous experience to achieve a salon-worthy manicure with semi-cured gel nail strips!
Depending on your experience level, it can take around 10-20 minutes to apply the semi-cured gel nail strips. Enjoy the process of giving yourself some quiet time and self-care. ♥️
What should I do in preparation for applying gel nail strips?
Be sure to have an LED nail lamp on hand so that you can completely cure (harden) the gel nail strips during application.
It is recommended to shape your nails and remove the cuticles in advance.
Before your application, you should clean your hands and nails. You can use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to remove any remaining residue from your nails.
Ensure your nails are completely dry before application.
How do I choose the correct nail strip size for my nails?
We recommend selecting a nail strip that is slightly smaller than your actual nail size. This will help with avoiding the strip placement over your skin which causes lifting over time.
If you have a used set of gel nail strips with leftover sizes, you can still use them by cutting larger strips before application or stretching the smaller strips over your nails during application.
Can I use gel nail strips without an LED/UV lamp?
It is possible to apply gel nail strips without an LED/UV lamp. However, your manicure will not last as long without curing (hardening) them.
Can I apply gel nail strips to shorter nails?
Yes, you can!
If you are finding it difficult to file the nail strips off before curing them, try this method instead: Stick the nail strip to the nail, use a cuticle scissor to neatly cut off the excess strip and then cure the nail strip. Once cured, proceed to file them for a final tidy-up.
Can I apply nail strips over gel or acrylic overlays?
Yes, semi-cured gel nail strips work well over gel or acrylic overlays.
Please exercise caution when removing semi-cured gel nail strips adhered to overlay nails. We recommend using a drill/file to gently remove the nail strip, as peeling it off may lead to the overlay lifting and potential nail damage.

How can I get my gel nail strips to last longer?
Long-lasting manicures start with good preparation before application. Ensure that your hands and skin are free from dirt and oils. Removing or pushing back your cuticles will also assist in making your gel nail strips last longer.
During application, ensure the strips are not placed over your skin and cuticle. Choosing a slightly smaller strip than your actual nail will help with this. In addition, make sure that there are no air bubbles or lifted edges on the strips before curing them.

How do I remove my gel nail strips?
Use the wooden cuticle stick provided to gently lift the strip from your nail. Start from the sides and slowly peel the nail strip off.
For an extra gentle removal, you can soak the wooden cuticle stick with cuticle oil to help with dissolving the adhesive.
Be sure to remove the nail strips slowly to prevent nail damage.
Note for strips stuck over overlay nails: Please exercise caution when removing semi-cured gel nail strips adhered to overlay nails. We recommend using a drill/file to gently remove the nail strip, as peeling it off may lead to the overlay lifting and potential nail damage.
